Rays Beat Astros 10-6

The Tampa Bay Rays did battle with the the Houston Astros yesterday at Minute Maid Park with the Rays picking up the W 10 to 6. You don’t often see such high scoring games, and anyone with Astros tickets sure got their money’s worth. This high-scoring game saw the teams combine for a whopping 16 runs! Talk about excitement!

Rays pitcher David Price (2.41 ERA) got the win, while Brian Moehler (4.42 ERA) took the loss for the Astros. David Price went 5 innings for the Rays, allowed 6 hits, 2 home runs and 5 earned runs with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Also pitching for the Rays was Joaquin Benoit (0.00), Dan Wheeler (2.45), Grant Balfour (2.33), and Lance Cormier (3.06).
